“Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest…”

Slowing Down

One whole day to

slow down and let go of the feeling that we always have to be producing, doing or hustling.

Stop striving and

acknowledge that we don’t make the world go around, and it’s not true or good for us to feel as if we are responsible for everything.

Rest.

When we take a day off, our world doesn’t fall apart, it begins to function in a healthier way because we are living out of the reality of God’s abundance rather than our fear of scarcity.

Rest is essential to our wellbeing.

It helps us see beauty, appreciate the people around us, and reset our priorities.

Choose one day a week to slow down.
